Hypertension runs in my family and getting this diagnosis in the near future may be a harsh reality.  I seen there was an opportunity to review Health Gurus Digital Blood Pressure Monitor and thought maybe this is an omen.

 

I recently received the Blood Pressure Monitor and was a bit afraid to take it out of the box.  If I open the box my fate would then be sealed for sure, right?  Despite my apprehension, my husband insisted that we not only take it out of the box, that I would be the first one to get my blood pressure taken. 

 

We put the batteries into the device and put it all together.  Once this was completed (which was simple) the cuff was slipped on and up my right arm being put in place with Velcro.  As I had silently expected, the reading was high.  Really High.  I was secretly hoping the Monitor was faulty and insisted on taking my husbands blood pressure too!  His was fine.  Better than fine, normal.  

 

Still not wanting to believe that my blood pressure could really be that high, I have started monitoring it daily.  Due to this fact, I am seeing a pattern that is far from healthy.  My blood pressure is continuously high.  Every time I take it.

 

I now know for sure that Health Gurus Blood Pressure Monitor works accurately and due to receiving this product to review for my opinion, it just might have saved my life.  I will be seeing the doctor next week.
